Complaints and Appeals

Complaints regarding a CPLE credential holder, an accredited program, or a violation of the Center's ethical standards may be submitted through our Contact page by selecting "Ethics complaint or enforcement."

The Ethics and Enforcement Committee reviews submitted complaints, may request additional information from the parties involved, and documents its findings.

Following review, the Committee may issue a range of outcomes including no action, a formal warning, probation, suspension or revocation of a credential or accreditation.

A party subject to a disciplinary decision may request an appeal, which is reviewed by individuals not involved in the original decision.
