Independent education providers offering peptide-related instruction across human science, animal science, veterinary-related education, laboratory or research applications may apply.
Accreditation Standards Currently in Development
Program Accreditation Built on Published Standards
Qualifying independent peptide education providers will be able to apply for private accreditation from the Center for Peptide Education and Literacy, evaluated against the Center's published standards.
PLC program accreditation is private, non-degree program accreditation. It is not U.S. Department of Education-recognized institutional accreditation and does not provide college credit, medical licensure or veterinary licensure.

What accreditation review examines
Application Process
Applicants submit program materials, organizational information and supporting documentation for review by the Peptide Program Accreditation Council.
Curriculum Review
Curriculum is reviewed for scope, learning objectives, structure and alignment with the Center's published competency standards.
Instructor Qualifications
Instructor background, subject-matter expertise and teaching qualifications are reviewed as part of the application.
Evidence Requirements
Programs must demonstrate that claims and course content are supported by clearly sourced, evidence-appropriate materials.
Assessment Standards
Programs are reviewed for the quality and rigor of learner assessments used to evaluate competency.
Ethics and Marketing Review
Marketing materials and public claims are reviewed for accuracy and consistency with the Center's ethical communication standards.
Conflict-of-Interest Disclosures
Applicants must disclose financial and organizational relationships that could reasonably affect the objectivity of their instruction.

Maintaining accreditation over time
Accreditation Decisions
The Peptide Program Accreditation Council issues accreditation decisions based on documented review criteria.
Annual Reporting
Accredited programs will be required to submit annual reports confirming continued compliance with PLC standards.
Renewal
Accreditation is granted for a defined term and must be renewed through a subsequent review cycle.
Probation, Suspension and Revocation
Programs that fall out of compliance may be placed on probation, suspended or have accreditation revoked following documented review.
Complaints and Appeals
Complaints regarding an accredited program are reviewed under the Center's complaints and appeals procedures.

A public directory of accredited programs will launch once the first program accreditations are issued.
