A Credential Built Around Competency
The CPLE certification is being developed for people who communicate or teach peptide science. It recognizes educational competency and does not authorize medical or veterinary diagnosis, prescribing, treatment, medication management or individualized dosing recommendations.

Eligibility
Eligibility criteria are being established by the Peptide Educator Certification Board and will cover documented background, agreement to the Code of Ethics and completion of required assessments.
Competency Framework
Domains include peptide science foundations, human and animal biology, laboratory and quality terminology, evidence interpretation, misinformation identification, audience-appropriate communication and professional boundaries.
Examination
A written examination developed under PLC Standard 4001 will assess knowledge across the competency domains, with published scoring standards and score-review procedures.
Teaching Assessment
Candidates will submit an educational sample assessed for scientific accuracy, evidence handling, clarity, disclosure and respect for medical and veterinary boundaries.
Code of Ethics
Certificants agree to evidence integrity, transparent conflict disclosure, accurate advertising, appropriate referral and the educational limits of the credential.
Credential Term
The credential will be issued for a defined term and must be renewed. Term length is set by the Certification Board before the first credentialing cohort.
Renewal Requirements
Renewal will require continued ethical standing, attestation of current practice and completion of approved continuing education within the credential term.
Continuing Education
Qualifying courses are reviewed by the Continuing Education Council under PLC Standard 5001. Approved courses appear in the public course directory.
Credential Verification
Credential status will be publicly verifiable in the Center's registry by name or credential number, showing current status without exposing private candidate records.
Complaints and Discipline
Complaints are received by the Ethics and Enforcement Committee and handled under PLC Standard 6001, which covers investigation, discipline, suspension and revocation.
Appeals
Candidates and certificants may appeal eligibility, examination and disciplinary decisions through a documented appeals procedure decided independently of the original reviewers.
Proper Use of the CPLE Designation
The designation may be used only by individuals in current good standing, only as an educational credential, and never to imply medical, veterinary, governmental or academic authority.
Buying or completing a course does not guarantee certification
Certification decisions are made by the Peptide Educator Certification Board based on published eligibility criteria, examination performance, teaching assessment and ethical standing. No course, purchase, membership or affiliation confers the credential, and no provider may promise it.
